Batman #576 - DC Comics - 2000
Young Prince Ali, son of Sheik Al Qatar, has been kidnapped by a group led by a man called Cipher. Batman and recently promoted Lt. Bullock are already chasing the low-flying helicopter through the streets of Gotham City.
Batman sets his Batmobile on autopilot and uses one of his grapples to hop aboard the helicopter. Prince Ali uses the distraction and pulls a ceremonial dagger to not only stab one of the kidnappers in the leg, but also to free himself from his shackles. But then Ali falls out of the shaking helicopter and into a water channel. Batman is right behind the young Prince who has fear of Batman and, thus, swims through the storm drain system to escape.
